Model Crazy is a web name for the company Chris Lem Models. As PLANE
CRAZY we have been selling the fantastic range of superbly accurate
diecast metal Corgi Aviation Archive model planes for over 6 years. This
has allowed us to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the wide range
of models available. We have now established an excellent reputation for
our high levels of service. It seemed a logical step to branch out a little
further and launch Model Crazy, offering a huge range of diecast vehicles
to the discerning collector worldwide.
As a 2 year old my parents bought me the Matchbox King-Size K4-1 McKormick
International Tractor and I am told that “tractor” was my
first word. As a lad I bought some of the last Dinky military vehicles
available in the shops, which I still have. This really fuelled my interest
in diecast models and as a result I have remained as passionate about
them ever since.
After 23 years of RAF service I decided to form the company Chris Lem
Models. As you can probably gather I am extremely enthusiastic about the
subject. I’m extremely lucky to be in a position where I truly enjoy
going to work. How could I not be when I’m surrounded by the very
models that I have collected since I was old enough to do so. As an added
bonus collectors have seen some of their their models double or treble
in value, thus representing an excellent investment with the added bonus
that they look great in your cabinet.
